Focus sectors

  • SaaS for Waste Management
  • Traceability Infrastructure

Key Challenges and Learnings

Product Differentiation

Significant effort and cost are required to differentiate products in a low-entry-barrier market, alongside the need for innovative pricing strategies and the persistent risk of competitor price undercutting.

Customization

Handling multiple waste categories requires continual product customization, which lengthens adoption cycles and increases the need for simple, user-friendly features, particularly for waste collectors.

Impact Created

Formally trained 58 waste collectors across Material Recovery Facilities within six months.

Over 13,000 metric tons of waste tracked, across 17 different categories of waste.

Enabled a reduction of 1,600 tonnes of carbon emissions.

India’s waste management system suffers from fragmentation, low traceability, and limited data across largely informal collection and processing networks, leading to inefficiencies, leakages, and weak environmental accountability. Green Aadhaar addresses this gap by providing end-to-end digital traceability from waste collection to processing, integrating fleet monitoring, route optimization, and lifecycle assessment. The platform improves operational efficiency, reduces logistics costs, and enables verifiable sustainability outcomes for urban bodies, waste operators, and producers.
